The most important part of my life is my faith and devotion to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My wife invited me to attend her church when we were dating back in college and God took care of the rest. I have been involved in many youth ministries including being a commissioner in Upward basketball and leading a Bible study for the Millennial generation. I am blessed to be both a husband to an amazing wife and father to wonderful children! The highlight of my day is to come home and be with them. Whether it is reading a book with them, playing outside, or watching as my wife and I try to introduce them to video games, nothing beats spending time with my family.

I have the pleasure of being an Associate Professor of Analytics at the Institute for Advanced Analytics at North Carolina State University. Here I get to live out my passion of innovating the current structure of education to better prepare a modern work force to be ready to communicate and handle a data driven future. I get to teach courses in statistics, mathematics, financial risk, and operations research for the nation's first Master of Science in Analytics degree program.
